Recently, at the invitation of the Organizing Committee of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025, General Director of the International Coffee Organization (ICO) - Ms. Vanusia Noguiera will attend this festival. This is the first time an international representative has come to the festival, marking an important step forward in raising the position of Vietnamese coffee on the world map.

The fact that a prestigious organization like ICO pays special attention to the festival reflects the increasingly important role of Vietnamese coffee in the global supply chain. The presence of Ms. Vanusia Noguiera promises to attract a large number of diplomatic delegations, agricultural organizations, industry associations, coffee businesses and international press.

Buon Ma Thuot Robusta coffee is currently exported to more than 100 countries and territories, and is popular in coffee consuming powers such as Germany, Italy, China, the US, Japan, Spain and Indonesia.

The International Coffee Organization (ICO), founded in 1963, currently has 49 members (75 countries), including 42 producing members and 7 importing members. ICO member countries account for 98% of world coffee production and 63% of global coffee consumption.

Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival is not only a cultural event but also a great opportunity for the Vietnamese coffee industry to expand cooperation with international organizations and markets, contributing to enhancing the value and position of Vietnamese coffee in the global market.
