Domestic coffee price list updated on the morning of April 1, 2025 |
The Import-Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) said that coffee prices have maintained their upward momentum since the beginning of this year due to concerns about supply shortages from major producers. In Brazil, in February 2025, total coffee exports decreased by about 10% compared to the same period last year, reaching only 3.27 million bags.
According to experts, domestic coffee prices may continue to fluctuate strongly due to the impact of weather, US tariff policies and the global economic situation. In addition, coffee importers are preparing goods early to ensure that goods are purchased before the EU Deforestation Prevention Act (EUDR) takes effect at the end of 2025.
However, according to experts, although domestic coffee prices have not changed much, export situations and global factors can still affect prices in the coming time. Investors and farmers need to closely monitor market developments to make reasonable decisions.
In Vietnam, according to the Vietnam Coffee - Cocoa Association (Vicofa), Vietnam's coffee output in the 2024 - 2025 crop year is expected to decrease by 5% compared to the previous crop year to about 27 million bags, due to the impact of climate change and the shrinking planting area.
According to information from the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association, coffee exports in the first quarter of 2025 are estimated to reach about 2.8 billion USD. If the current price situation remains, the whole year could set a record of 8 billion USD.
Data from the Vietnam Customs Department shows that from the beginning of the year to March 15, Vietnam exported 406,637 tons of coffee, with a turnover of 2.28 billion USD, down 18% in volume but up 41% in value compared to the same period in 2024.
