Meeting and wishing FDI enterprises a happy new year on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025

On the afternoon of January 18, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee held a meeting to wish 100% foreign-invested enterprises (FDI) in the province a happy new year on the occasion of preparing to welcome the Lunar New Year 2025. Comrade Dang Thanh Giang, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, and leaders of a number of departments and branches attended and congratulated.

At the meeting, Comrade Lai Van Hoan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, provided an overview of the province's socio-economic development and investment attraction activities in 2024. The province's economic growth rate (GRDP) in 2024 increased by 7.01%, the economic scale ranked 23rd out of 63 provinces and cities. Total state budget revenue was over VND 28,000 billion, reaching 144% of the estimate, up 15.7% compared to 2023; of which, domestic revenue was VND 11,578.9 billion, reaching 134.5% of the estimate, up 18%, the second consecutive year that domestic revenue reached over VND 11,000 billion. The province's investment capital attraction reached over 43,000 billion VND, of which FDI capital attraction reached 1.16 billion USD, ranking 12th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide...

On the occasion of preparing to enter the new year of At Ty 2025, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wished FDI enterprises new successes; each enterprise focuses on exploiting the potential and strengths of the province and of the enterprise to develop, cooperate in investment and expand production and accompany and support the province in attracting investment. Implement well the direction of the Provincial People's Committee on ensuring security and order, preventing and fighting fires and explosions, protecting the environment, ensuring social security for workers, together with Thai Binh to welcome the Lunar New Year At Ty 2025 joyfully and happily.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the provincial Party Committee and government will always accompany and create favorable conditions for the FDI business community to invest, produce, do business effectively and develop sustainably.

Representatives of some FDI enterprises shared the results of investment, production and business activities, and their feelings about the innovation and improvement of the investment and business environment in the province. FDI enterprises also expressed their gratitude for the timely support and encouragement of the provincial Party Committee and government, creating favorable conditions for FDI enterprises to confidently invest, produce and do business effectively, and hoped to continue to receive attention and support from all levels and sectors in the coming time.
