Nearly 703,000 candidates registered for university entrance exam

The Ministry of Education and Training said this number increased by about 60,000 candidates compared to the total number of candidates registered in 2023.

During the admission days, the Ministry of Education and Training's admission registration system operated stably. The closing time for candidates to register for admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's system is 5:00 p.m. on July 30.

From now until 5:00 p.m. tomorrow, July 30, candidates must complete the registration, adjustment, and addition of admission wishes on the system. This year, candidates can continue to register, adjust, and add admission wishes an unlimited number of times within the prescribed time.

From July 31 to 5:00 p.m. on August 6, candidates must pay the admission fee according to the number of wishes online.

From July 22 to July 31, admitted candidates who are eligible for direct admission can confirm their admission on the system.

Before 5:00 p.m. on August 19, candidates will be notified of their admission in the first round and no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 27, all admitted candidates must complete the online admission confirmation in the first round on the system.

The virtual screening process will take place from August 13 to 5 p.m. on August 17. After this period, schools can announce the benchmark scores and admission results to candidates.

By 5:00 p.m. on August 19 at the latest, universities and colleges must complete the announcement of benchmark scores and first round of admission results.
