On the afternoon of April 13, nearly 2,000 young athletes conquered the Kids Run the Earth race. The young runners tried their best to reach the finish line, creating a vibrant and exciting atmosphere around the West Lake area, Hanoi.
Kids Run the Earth 2024 will compete in different distances: 3 km (9-15 years old); 1.5 km (7-10 years old) and 700 m (7-10 years old). This special sporting event is organized with the aim of encouraging the spirit of sports for children, creating a healthy and meaningful sports playground for children in Tay Ho district in particular and Hanoi capital in general.
Young athletes compete fiercely
This not only gives children the opportunity to exercise and improve their health in a positive way, but also encourages sportsmanship and integration in the children's community.
The race received the companionship and support from strategic partner - United Nations International School of Hanoi (UNIS Hanoi) and other sponsors, contributing to the success of this meaningful sports festival.
2,000 young athletes compete
More than just a race, Kids Run the Earth is a milestone marking the maturity of each child. The tournament is organized not to find a running champion but to help children overcome their fears, train their physical fitness and sportsmanship from a young age.
Kids Run the Earth is an event within the framework of the Tay Ho Half Marathon 2024 Powered by BIM Group, which opened on the morning of April 13 at Tay Ho Cultural and Creative Space (Tay Ho district, Hanoi).
On the morning of April 14, Tay Ho Half Marathon 2024 Powered by BIM Group will officially kick off with 3 events: 5 km, 15 km and 21.1 km (half marathon). 2024 is the fourth season of Tay Ho Half Marathon organized, attracting more than 10,000 athletes to register - double the previous season. Of which, about 6,000 people - equivalent to more than half of the athletes competing in the 21.1 km (half marathon) distance - the largest number of athletes in Vietnam.
