The S25 Plus is one of three flagship models that Samsung will introduce to users in early 2025. Recently, a series of information about the product has been shared.
Most recently, the S25 Plus appeared on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with impressive scores. This score promises to significantly upgrade performance compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Plus.
Accordingly, the S25 Plus scored an impressive 3,160 in the single-core test and 9,941 in the multi-core test. This result is significantly higher than the previous test, with the S25 scoring 2,481 and 8,658 points in similar tests.
The S25 Plus' performance is even close to Qualcomm's reference Snapdragon 8 Elite units, showing Samsung's efforts to maximize the chip's potential.
The Geekbench listing confirms the presence of a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, clocked at 4.47 GHz (up from the 4.32 GHz of the standard version).
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus is rumored to have a neat back with a vertical triple camera array with a slight change. The rear camera cluster is expected to have a design with a thicker black border surrounding the lens.
The S25 Plus is expected to feature a 6.7-inch LTPO display, with an adaptive refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz. In terms of dimensions, the phone could be slightly different from the S24 Plus, measuring around 158.4 x 75.7 x 7.3mm and could be around 0.44mm thinner than its predecessor.
According to leaker Ice Universe, the Galaxy S25 Plus will have a 4,900 mAh battery similar to its predecessor. The device is rumored to have 12 GB of RAM and at least 256 GB of internal memory.
The S25 series is expected to launch on January 22 or 23, 2025.
