(Dan Tri) - xAI, the artificial intelligence company founded by Elon Musk, has just launched the Grok 3 chatbot, which the billionaire confidently asserts is the smartest AI model in the world, surpassing its competitors.
"We are excited to introduce Grok 3, which we believe will be a step above Grok 2," billionaire Elon Musk announced at the Grok 3 launch event, which was streamed on his personal X page with more than 218 million followers.
Elon Musk said that in initial tests, Grok 3 outperformed OpenAI's ChatGPT or China's DeepSeek, including tests of knowledge in mathematics, science and programming.

Initial evaluations on Chatbot Arena, a website that compares the processing power and intelligence of generative AI systems, show that Grok 3 has surpassed its competitors to take the top spot. It is also the first AI chatbot to achieve a score of 1400 in intelligence.
Last week, at the World Government Summit in Dubai (UAE), Elon Musk revealed the Grok 3 AI model and said that this model is "scary smart", with strong reasoning capabilities.
Musk confidently asserted that Grok 3 is the smartest AI model in the world today, as this model is trained based on a lot of synthetic data, with the ability to learn from its own mistakes and achieve consistency in logical reasoning.
xAI representatives said Grok 3 will be rolled out starting today to social network X users who have subscribed to the premium service package. Users can also pay to use Grok 3 on the web platform or as a standalone application.
However, Elon Musk said Grok 3 is still just a test version and xAI will continue to improve this AI chatbot to make it smarter every day.
In addition to Grok 3, xAI said the company is developing "Deep Search" to act as an artificial intelligence-powered search engine to compete directly with Google.

However, the race to develop AI chatbots has suddenly seen the emergence of a new player from China, DeepSeek.
The free version of DeepSeek was launched at the end of January and quickly became a global sensation, highly appreciated by the user community for its reasoning ability and response speed.
The highlight of DeepSeek is that it has much cheaper development and operating costs than American AI chatbots such as ChatGPT, Llama, Gemini or Musk's own Grok.
