Perhaps anyone who has ever set foot in the ancient capital, in addition to wanting to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the dreamy Hue, immerse themselves in the nostalgia of the temples and mausoleums or admire the majestic grandeur of the Forbidden City, visitors also want to once enjoy the Royal Court Music - a quintessence of national and human music.
During the reign of the kings, the Royal Court Music was only enjoyed by the king, the royal family, high-ranking officials or special diplomatic commissioners. But today, we are fortunate to be able to hear and see those sounds at a theater considered to be the oldest in Vietnam, at a place called Duyet Thi Duong.
