Currently, there are more than 30 international flights every day, including nearly 20 flights from cities in Korea, followed by China, Kazakhstan... to Khanh Hoa province. Ms. Le Thi Hong Minh, Director of Cam Ranh International Airport Terminal, said that the promotion and marketing work was done well by travel agencies in neighboring countries, with convenient procedures for opening flights, and tourists have chosen Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa as their destination: "Airlines bringing tourists here also want to ensure the output and quality of services provided to tourists is increasingly affirmed. Khanh Hoa - Nha Trang is being highly appreciated by airlines because it is cheap. With the criteria of tightening tourists' spending, Khanh Hoa has an advantage that is difficult to find anywhere else, the most suitable service prices and the locality has an abundant number of accommodation facilities".

Sea and islands continue to be chosen by many tourists

To date, Khanh Hoa province has welcomed more than 5.5 million domestic tourists, an increase of 30% over the same period last year. The expressway infrastructure from the southern provinces to Khanh Hoa province is smooth, creating conditions for people to travel as families. Mr. Bui Quang Vu, from Ho Chi Minh City, felt: "Tourists come to Nha Trang not only because of the beautiful sea and island scenery but also because of the reasonable service prices. I find Nha Trang very beautiful to visit, most importantly, the prices are stable, not much more than Ho Chi Minh City. The hotel I stayed at was only 400,000 VND/night, very reasonable. This time it was a bit crowded, a bit of traffic jam".

In 2023, Khanh Hoa province will welcome 7.2 million visitors; in 2024, Khanh Hoa province aims to welcome 9 million visitors, with tourism revenue of VND40,000 billion. By the end of September this year, the province's tourism industry had completed its annual plan; of which, foreign tourists accounted for more than 3.5 million.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of Khanh Hoa Province Department of Tourism, affirmed that the growth in the number of visitors and revenue is primarily due to the efforts in the process of building tourism products. Since the beginning of the year, Khanh Hoa province has implemented many tourism promotion activities and organized large-scale events to attract many tourists such as the "Sea Tourism Festival" program or the "Nha Trang International Light Bay 2024" festival... Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh added: "The tourism industry has strived and the business community joined hands in tourism products and services to serve customers. Fortunately, the weather is favorable, creating very good conditions for tourism development. The Department of Tourism will launch various measures to exceed the target of welcoming 10 million visitors from now until the end of the year".

At the end of September, Khanh Hoa province organized a working group to promote investment, trade and tourism in Korea, thereby promoting the image of Vietnam, especially Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism. In early October, Khanh Hoa province will organize activities and events to announce that Khanh Hoa province has reached 9 million tourists, launch a tourism stimulus program with the theme "Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism, come to love", and at the same time implement a stimulus program with discounts and promotions at accommodation businesses and tourism service businesses in the last 3 months of the year.

After nearly 4 years of implementing the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, the tourism sector of Khanh Hoa province has made an important contribution to the completion of local economic development targets and tasks. Over the past 4 years, Khanh Hoa province's GRDP is estimated to increase by an average of 8.9% per year.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, said that the departments and localities are preparing to organize tourism events in 2025, continuing to maintain the growth momentum: "We have done very well in the last two festivals, ensuring development. In the past 20 years, Khanh Hoa province has only achieved 15 world records, but in just 2 nights, it has achieved 2 world records, that is a great determination. The province is completing the procedures to report to the Central Government, considering these festivals as exclusive to Khanh Hoa province. In 2025, departments and branches must prepare early, specifically on April 2, the 50th anniversary of liberation, around June 10 is the Sea Festival so that we can continue to develop tourism" - Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan said.
