Kinhtedothi – On the occasion of the beginning of the new spring of At Ty, tourists flocked to Cho Cui temple (Xuan Hong commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province) to visit and worship.
Cho Cui Temple was built during the Le Dynasty, worshiping Holy Mother Lieu Hanh, Ngu Vi Ton Quan and Quang Hoang Muoi, which is said to be very sacred and mysterious. This is a unique and ancient architectural work and was ranked as a national historical relic in 1993.
With historical and cultural values, at the beginning of the new spring this year, people and tourists from all over the country have been eagerly making pilgrimages to the temple to pray for health, fortune and success in all their endeavours. Spring travel and ceremonies at Cho Củi Temple have become a beautiful traditional cultural feature, the wish of people and tourists.
“The weather is favorable, especially for spiritual beliefs, so at the beginning of the new spring, my family arranged time to offer incense and flowers and make offerings at Cho Cui Temple. Coming here, we feel peaceful, everyone is excited, hoping that our prayers will come true,” said Ms. Le Thi Thanh in Dong Vinh Ward, Thanh Hoa City.
Cho Củi Temple is located next to the clear, poetic Lam River. Having gone through bombs and bullets of war, and the effects of natural disasters and floods, the temple still retains its ancient, quiet, sacred features, becoming a spiritual support in the minds of many people.
“On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, security and order are enhanced; religious activities are carried out in a new way of life, ensuring traditional customs and traditions. This is a positive signal in exploiting the value of relics, contributing to promoting socio-economic and tourism development,” said a representative of the leader of Xuan Hong commune, Nghi Xuan district.
Through research, it is known that after 1 year of changing the management model (previously managed by the People's Committee of Xuan Hong commune and some households around the temple area), up to now, the amount of donation money from Cho Cui temple that the Management Board of Public Services and Tourist Attractions of Nghi Xuan district has paid to the state budget is more than 25 billion VND.
“During the Lunar New Year, Cho Cui Temple welcomed over 30,000 visitors from all over the country to visit and worship. There have been many innovations in state management, ensuring security, order and environmental sanitation has been focused on, preventing the phenomenon of tourists jostling and pushing each other when performing rituals during peak hours,” said Mr. Nguyen Cong Duc, Deputy Head of the Management Board of Public Services and Tourist Attractions of Nghi Xuan District.
