Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh, Director of Dak Nong Hydrometeorological Station, said that the province's common weather during the Lunar New Year 2025 has two main forms: variable clouds, no rain at night, sunny days; Variable clouds to cloudy, cold at night and early morning, intermittent sunny days, sometimes light rain in some places with insignificant amount.
Local temperatures range from 12-18 degrees, highest from 31-33 degrees, humidity from 70-83%.
The localities with the highest temperatures during the Tet holidays are forecasted to be Dak R'lap and Krong No, at 31-33 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperatures are in Dak Song, Dak Mil and Tuy Duc districts, at 12-14 degrees Celsius.
Low temperatures mainly occur from December 28 to the second day of the Lunar New Year. It can be said that the above weather characteristics are quite favorable for people to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet.
However, the Dak Nong Hydrometeorological Station warned that the Northeast monsoon is strong, sometimes reaching level 5-6. This can cause trees and signs, roadside shops to fall, and the roofs of houses and public buildings to be blown off.
People need to pay close attention to weather forecasts to have appropriate entertainment plans, ensuring safety and health for their families.
