The delivery price for March 2025 was 5,544 USD/ton (up 62 USD/ton), the delivery price for May 2025 was 5,499 USD/ton (up 76 USD/ton), the delivery price for July 2025 was 5,416 USD/ton (up 82 USD/ton) and September 2025 was 5,318 USD/ton (up 83 USD/ton).

At the end of the trading session, Arabica coffee prices on the New York floor also increased simultaneously, increasing from 2.80 - 3.60 cents/lb. Specifically, the delivery period for March 2025 was 347.55 cents/lb (up 3.60 cents/lb), the delivery period for May 2025 was 343.05 cents/lb (up 2.95 cents/lb), the delivery period for July 2025 was 336.40 cents/lb (up 2.85 cents/lb) and the delivery period for September 2025 was 327.20 cents/lb (up 2.80 cents/lb).

Similarly, the price of Arabica coffee from Brazil also recorded a slight increase. Specifically, the delivery period in May 2025 was 425.00 USD/ton (up 5.35 USD/ton), the period in July 2025 was 420.55 USD/ton (up 3.75 USD/ton) and the period in September 2025 was 403.80 USD/ton (up 0.95 USD/ton). In particular, the delivery period in March 2025 continued to decrease to 428.00 USD/ton (down 0.20 USD/ton).

Domestic coffee prices increase beyond 125,000 VND / kg

According to information from Giacaphe.com, at 4:00 p.m. today, January 25, 2025, domestic coffee prices have stabilized and remained at an average of 125,300 VND/kg, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

The highest coffee purchase price in key regions of the Central Highlands was recorded at VND125,500/kg. Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is VND125,300/kg (up VND1,100/kg), coffee price in Lam Dong is VND124,700/kg (up VND1,200/kg), coffee price in Gia Lai is VND125,000/kg (up VND1,000/kg) and coffee price in Dak Nong today is VND125,500/kg (up VND1,000/kg).

The domestic coffee prices that Giacaphe.com lists every day are calculated based on the prices of two world coffee exchanges combined with continuous surveys from businesses and purchasing agents in key coffee growing areas across the country.

However, in the domestic market, coffee trading activities seem to have "frozen" as businesses and farmers prepare for the Lunar New Year 2025. Although coffee prices are offered at high prices, many businesses do not have enough capital to buy due to the limited bank credit. This leads to a shortage of coffee like previous years.

Foreign-invested coffee companies have also not actively participated in the market, mainly due to concerns about risks from rising prices and the long Tet holiday. In addition, the wait-and-see mentality of growers is also creating challenges for supply. Seeing the continuous increase in coffee futures prices, farmers are worried about selling at a loss, making coffee supply even tighter.

Despite the difficulties, with the current coffee price level, farmers still have reason to be excited. Many are preparing for Tet with the hope of a successful crop, marking an unprecedented year of great success in the history of coffee growing.
