From the land of Que Thuan (Que Son), the startup story of young man Dinh Duc Phu (born in 1996) with products made from deer antlers has become a source of inspiration for many local youths. In 2024, Phu's deer antler wine product will achieve 3-star OCOP certification, marking an important step forward in the journey to conquer the market.

Mr. Phu said that to achieve today's results, it is not only his journey of effort in researching, exploring, and creating high-value deer antler products, but also the companionship and support of departments and organizations. In particular, the Youth Union at the commune and district levels has accompanied him since the early days of starting his business.
“The 3-star OCOP certification in 2024 is a great joy for me. This is the motivation for me to continue developing, perfecting the product, and building the deer antler brand to grow more and more,” Mr. Phu shared.
In 2024, Hao Nhan black chicken egg product of Ms. Pham Thi Nhan (born in 1992, Duy Trinh commune, Duy Xuyen) was also recognized with 3 OCOP stars.
With the desire to bring consumers a source of clean, nutritious food, Ms. Nhan has worked hard to build a model of raising black chickens in a safe, closed direction. The products are packaged beautifully and conveniently, demonstrating professionalism and enhancing the value of the product. Hao Nhan black chicken eggs are available at many clean food stores and supermarkets and have been positively received by consumers.
Ms. Nhan said that in the journey of building an OCOP brand for her products, she received support from the local youth union. Through training courses, she was equipped with a lot of knowledge and skills in building product brands.
In particular, through the Youth Union channel, she was supported with a loan of 100 million VND to develop the product, and the Commune Union supported her in building the image and promoting the product on social networking platforms. After being recognized as OCOP in 2021, the product continued to be supported by the Youth Union to participate in trade promotion events, contributing to raising awareness and affirming its delicious quality.
According to statistics, in 2024, the provincial Youth Union at all levels supported the assessment and classification exams and 45 OCOP products of young people were recognized as meeting 3-star standards, typically: Bamboo tube snails of Ms. Mai Thi Thu Suong (Duy Xuyen); dried ripe bananas of Ms. Le Thi Phuong (Hiep Duc); Loi Phat dry brown rice vermicelli of Mr. Nguyen Quang (Thang Binh); deer antler wine of Mr. Dinh Duc Phu (Que Thuan, Que Son); Hao Nhan black chicken eggs of Ms. Pham Thi Nhan (Duy Trinh, Duy Xuyen)...

In recent times, the Provincial Youth Union and Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province have organized many programs and activities to encourage and support young people to start businesses and establish businesses, aiming to create quality OCOP products with local identity, providing stable jobs for young people, contributing to socio-economic development.
Mr. Hoang Van Thanh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union said that every year, Youth Union chapters at all levels regularly propagate to youth union members to correctly understand the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program through new and vivid propaganda publications.
Along with that, instructing young people on how to access startup policies and preferential capital sources; introducing OCOP products through the Youth Startup Product Introduction and Promotion Page of Quang Nam Provincial Youth Union or through fairs displaying and promoting youth startup products...
In addition, the Provincial Youth Union also maintains organizing training courses on start-ups from the OCOP program; online sales skills, methods of building business websites, product marketing methods; revenue growth on e-commerce platforms, etc.
Mr. Thanh also believes that putting OCOP products of young people on e-commerce platforms contributes to promoting the development of the digital economy, affirming the pioneering and innovative role of young people in implementing the OCOP program.
Every year, the Provincial Youth Union also organizes the Provincial Competition for Startup Ideas and Projects to seek, accompany and support the realization of startup ideas and projects of young people. At the same time, the Provincial Youth Union also proactively coordinates with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to guide young business households, cooperatives and youth cooperatives to register to participate in the OCOP program.
“Accompanying and supporting young people in developing OCOP products opens up prospects for developing business models and cooperatives owned by young people. This contributes to improving the value and quality of products, creating more job opportunities for young people in the locality,” said Mr. Thanh.
