In the first match that took place in the early morning of June 5, despite losing narrowly with a score of 2-3 to the Paraguayan futsal team, the players of the Vietnamese futsal team received high praise from head coach Diego Giustozzi Diego.
Tomorrow's match (June 7) and the next match on June 9 between the Vietnam futsal team and Paraguay are part of the FIFA Days futsal competition. Therefore, the organization has been carefully planned by the Paraguayan Football Federation. The Paraguayan side highly appreciates this training and friendly match with the Vietnam futsal team, as both teams share the same goal of winning tickets to the Futsal World Cup finals next year.

Speaking at a press conference before the match, coach Diego Giustozzi said: "I feel very happy to have quality friendly matches with the Paraguay futsal team, a team in the top 10 of world futsal, and a strong candidate in every South American futsal championship. The Vietnam futsal team has prepared well for the matches in Paraguay this time."
Mr. Giustozzi added: "In our squad there are some young players. I want to help the players develop, create a strong and cohesive team for Vietnamese futsal towards the Asian qualifiers in September. There is still a lot of work to do, but certainly through high-intensity matches and with quality players from Paraguay, we will learn many valuable lessons."
These are official international friendly matches between the two teams. Therefore, both teams are determined to do their best to serve the fans. Head of the Paraguayan Football Federation's futsal committee, Jose Luis Alder, said that the organizing committee plans to issue about 1,000 tickets for spectators to enter the stadium to watch and cheer for the two teams. In addition, the match between the two teams will also be broadcast live because futsal is very popular in Paraguay.
