In the first season of playing in V-League, Hanoi Police Club with strong investment won the championship deservedly. In which, Doan Van Hau is one of the key factors creating the brilliant success of the police team.
With his contributions, Doan Van Hau was honored in the typical squad of V-League 2023. "I am very happy with the championship that Hanoi Police Club achieved last season. When coming to a new team, I understand that there will be difficulties that I have to overcome. Everything is new and I need time to get used to it. Currently, everything is very favorable for me," said the player from Thai Binh.

The 24-year-old defender also hopes to join the Hanoi Police Club in reaching out to continental-level playgrounds: "This is a team with a long tradition. After a while, the Hanoi Police Club has reappeared on the map of Vietnamese football. My teammates and I will try to create a new image for the club. I hope that in the near future, the Hanoi Police Club will be able to play in the AFC Champions League (commonly known as the Asian Cup C1) or the AFC Cup."
Regarding the team's goal in the new 2023 - 2024 season, Doan Van Hau emphasized: "Winning the championship is difficult, but defending the championship is even more difficult. We will try to successfully defend the championship next season. For me personally, although I have won the V-League 4 times, I understand that I have to try harder. No one can predict the future, but I will try to play well for the club I play for."

Currently, Doan Van Hau is training with the Vietnamese national team during FIFA Days. The defender from Thai Binh and his teammates will have an international friendly match with the Palestinian team at Thien Truong Stadium on September 11.
Regarding the Hanoi Police Club, the new champion of V-League has just been granted an exception by VFF to participate in the V-League season 2023 - 2024. The police team is responsible for completing the procedures for establishing a business in accordance with the club's commitment document.
