A light aircraft while trying to make an emergency landing crashed into a bus on the busy Marques de Sao Vicente avenue in Sao Paulo (Brazil) at around 7:20 a.m. on February 7 (local time).

G1 news site reported that at least two people on board the plane were killed. The Sao Paulo Fire Department found two charred bodies inside the plane.
Witnesses reported hearing a loud bang and seeing a plume of black smoke rising from the avenue.
Footage from the scene of the crash showed the wreckage of the plane and the bus engulfed in flames, with dozens of firefighters trying to extinguish the flames.
The King Air F90 aircraft, with a capacity of eight people, departed Sao Paulo's Campo de Marte airport at around 7:15 a.m. on February 7, heading towards Porto Alegre.
Within five minutes of takeoff, the pilot attempted an emergency landing on the highway but ended up crashing into a bus. Fortunately, the vehicle was not carrying passengers at the time, according to authorities.
A witness named Joao Lucas da Silva Amaral said the plane hit a tree and fuel started leaking before the plane lost altitude and crashed into the bus.
TV Globo quoted another witness named Genival Dantas Arraes describing the scene of the plane crashing into the avenue and immediately exploding, sending up a fireball.
"Everyone was frozen. The plane tore through palm trees and traffic signs. The plane fell very fast," said witness Arraes.
A motorcyclist passing by was injured by debris from the plane. A woman passing by was also injured and taken to hospital.
It is unclear what caused the plane to make an emergency landing.
