Specifically, on October 11, the Working Group coordinated with Tuyen Quang Provincial Youth Union, Vietcombank Tuyen Quang, and Tuyen Quang Department of Education and Training to organize a volunteer program at An Lac School and Xuan Van Kindergarten (Yen Son District). An Lac School has 4 classrooms with 76 students. After storm No. 3, the school was deeply flooded, damaging all equipment, cabinets, school supplies, and toys of the students.
At An Lac school, the units awarded 32 “Sowing seeds of love” scholarships worth 16 million VND; a 55-inch TV worth 10 million VND; school renovation costs of 73 million VND; a system of study and activity cabinets for the school worth 40 million VND. The total amount awarded was nearly 140 million VND.
On the same day, the delegation continued to implement the program at Tan Thinh Primary and Secondary School, Yen Bai Province with the support of Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union, Vietcombank Yen Bai, and Yen Bai Department of Education and Training. Here, the units awarded "Sowing the Seeds of Love" scholarships to children with especially difficult circumstances studying at the School with a total value of 158 million VND.
On October 12, the Working Group coordinated with Lao Cai Provincial Youth Union, Vietcombank Lao Cai, and Lao Cai Provincial Inspectorate to present “Sowing Seeds of Love” scholarships worth 114 million VND to disadvantaged students at Quan Ho Than Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, Si Ma Cai District, Lao Cai Province. At Quan Ho Than Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, the recent flood caused by storm No. 3 submerged the entire school.
