Delegations from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang.

This is a series of activities in the program "Hanoi Days in Ho Chi Minh City", on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).

The delegation laid flowers in memory of President Ho Chi Minh at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park; laid flowers and incense to the soul of President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City branch. Here, the delegates also observed a minute of silence to commemorate the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the national liberation hero, world cultural celebrity; the exemplary international communist soldier who devoted his whole life to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

Next, the delegation members visited the thematic exhibition “Names, aliases, pen names of President Ho Chi Minh” organized by the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City branch. The exhibition introduced to the public 182 names, aliases and pen names that President Ho Chi Minh used.

On the morning of August 23, members of the delegation came to offer flowers and incense in respectful memory of President Ton Duc Thang at the Ton Duc Thang Museum. Members of the delegation took a minute to remember President Ton Duc Thang - the leader of the working class, a shining example of diligence, thrift, integrity, wholeheartedly serving the revolution and the people.

The delegation members visited the thematic exhibition "Ba Son - Timeline" organized by Ton Duc Thang Museum in collaboration with Ba Son Corporation, on the occasion of the 136th anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang's birthday (August 20, 1888 - August 20, 2024) and towards the 100th anniversary of Ba Son's traditional day (August 4, 1925 - August 4, 2025).

The exhibition includes 180 documents and artifacts summarizing the formation and development process of Ba Son, thereby helping the public understand the development of the shipbuilding industry, the Ba Son workers' movement in the cause of national liberation, especially the role of President Ton Duc Thang.
