Chairman Do Van Chien offers incense in memory of late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong

On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and the traditional New Year of the nation At Ty 2025, on February 3 (the 6th day of Tet), Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, offered incense to commemorate the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at his private home.

Also attending were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - General Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee; Mr. Tran Viet Truong, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee.

Lighting incense sticks to commemorate and pay tribute to the great contributions of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Do Van Chien expressed his respect, honor and gratitude to the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong - an exceptionally outstanding leader, a shining example of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, a great personality with sharp theoretical thinking, fully embodying the qualities, talents, mettle and intelligence of the generation of Vietnamese leaders in the renovation period, wholeheartedly serving the Fatherland and the people, having great prestige and influence both at home and abroad, leaving behind enormous legacies and contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party, State and people as well as peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

Throughout his life, the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong always paid special attention to consolidating and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, realizing the goal of "rich people, strong country, democracy, equality, civilization"; enhancing the core political role and responsibility of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations.

At the launching ceremony of the book "Promoting the tradition of great national solidarity, building our country to be increasingly rich, civilized and happy" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Chairman Do Van Chien affirmed that the content of the book reflects the great thoughts and sincere feelings of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on building and promoting the tradition of great national solidarity in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. The book is a long-term handbook on theory, practice, and historical significance on promoting the strength of great national solidarity, thereby helping Party committees, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, cadres and party members in the political system to study and apply in practice; it is a political basis for thoroughly grasping and building an action program to continue promoting the tradition of great national solidarity, building our country to be increasingly rich, prosperous, civilized and happy.

In the warm atmosphere of the first days of the New Year of the Snake 2025, Chairman Do Van Chien kindly inquired about the health of Mrs. Ngo Thi Man, wife of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; wishing her and her family a new year of good health, peace and prosperity.
