The majors with the highest number of applicants are: Primary Education, English Pedagogy, English Language, Natural Science Pedagogy, History - Geography Pedagogy.

After 3 virtual filtering rounds, Mr. Quoc predicted that the school's standard scores for majors will increase compared to 2022. In 2023, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education will receive from 19 to 23 applications, depending on the major. The school will consider admission according to the following methods:

Priority admission: (According to Clause 4, Article 7, Admission Regulations of the school and admission of candidates who are specialized class students accounting for a maximum of 20% of the quota of each major).

Admission based on the results of the 2023 high school graduation exam: (Not applicable to Preschool Education and Physical Education) accounts for at least 30% of the quota for the following majors: Mathematics Pedagogy, Informatics Pedagogy, Information Technology, Physics Pedagogy, Physics, Chemistry Pedagogy, Chemistry, Biology Pedagogy, Literature Pedagogy, Literature, Vietnamese Studies, English Pedagogy, English Language, Chinese Pedagogy, Chinese Language, French Pedagogy, French Language, Russian Pedagogy, Russian Language, Japanese Language, Korean Language, Primary Education, Special Education, Civic Education, Political Education, National Defense - Security Education, Technology Pedagogy, Natural Science Pedagogy.

The remaining industries account for at least 60%.

Admission based on high school academic results: Up to 10% of the quota for each major (not applicable to Preschool Education and Physical Education).

Combining admission and entrance exams: For the Early Childhood Education and Physical Education majors, admission is based on the results of the 2023 high school graduation exam and the aptitude test scores organized by Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, accounting for at least 60% of the quota for each major. Admission is based on high school academic results and aptitude test scores organized by Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, accounting for a maximum of 10% of the quota for each major.

In 2022, the benchmark score of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education for the admission method using high school graduation exam results ranges from 20.03 to 28.25, in which the major with the highest benchmark score is Literature Pedagogy with a score of 28.25.

For majors not in the field of Educational Science and Teacher Training, the admission score also fluctuates at a high level with many majors in the group with an admission score of 24.25 points, specifically Psychology 25.75, English Language 25.5, Korean Language 24.97...

Meanwhile, for the admission method using high school results, the admission score for each major ranges from 22.75 to 29.75. The admission score for Mathematics Education and Chemistry Education is 29.75.
