On the morning of March 26, Comrade Nguyen Hong Dien, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Industry and Trade chaired a regular online conference to review the progress of the 500kV line 3 projects from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen). According to the report of Vietnam Electricity Group, National Power Transmission Corporation, up to now, the 500kV line 3 circuit project from Quang Trach to Pho Noi has handed over the site for 1177/1177 column foundation locations and 218/503 anchorage spaces. Currently, construction is being carried out simultaneously on the route at 1176 locations, foundation casting has been completed at 319 locations. 104 steel columns have been received and handed over to the construction site, 23 steel columns have been completed, and 49 steel columns are being erected.

Thai Binh province has handed over 107 column foundation locations in 22 communes, currently 11/47 anchorage areas have not yet handed over the site; 107 locations are under construction, 3 columns have been erected, 37 slab foundations have been cast, 70 foundations are being dug and cast, and 6 columns are being erected. In the coming time, Thai Binh province will continue to direct the People's Committees of districts, communes and enterprises in the area to actively support construction contractors to promote and utilize local human resources to ensure adequate supply of construction materials to speed up project construction progress; ensure security and order during construction, striving for the common goal of 500kV transmission line projects to be completed and put into operation before June 30, 2024.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Nguyen Hong Dien, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Industry and Trade, requested the sectors, localities and Vietnam Electricity Group to focus on implementing the following key tasks: Vietnam Electricity Group continues to proactively review the work related to the assigned functions and tasks to promptly resolve any arising problems. Closely coordinate with local authorities and related units to mobilize maximum human and material resources, including on-site forces, on-site means, on-site materials, promote the spirit of responsibility, proactiveness, creativity, and apply modern scientific and technological solutions to construction. Continue to strengthen inspection, supervision, and urge contractors to focus all resources to speed up construction progress according to the committed schedule. For localities, it is requested that the People's Committees of the provinces continue to support contractors in construction and construction work and direct and promptly handle any arising problems, if any. Coordinate with the construction unit to open roads to the column foundation locations and material staging areas to carry out construction, especially some locations that are facing difficulties and cannot yet carry out construction. Quickly approve the compensation plan for the column foundation area, complete in March 2024 so that the investor can complete the compensation work for people and businesses, ensuring the completion of the 500kV transmission line project according to the plan.
