Dang Huynh Uc My: Unlocking the potential of circular agriculture - 1

Identifying digital transformation as a pioneering path to help strengthen the position of Vietnam's agriculture 4.0 in the international arena, the Vice President quickly turned TTC AgriS into a leading enterprise in the field of smart agricultural development in Vietnam.

On a solid technology foundation, Ms. Uc My continues to lead TTC AgriS to successfully transform and develop a smart agricultural economic model integrating Production - Import - Export - Agricultural Services Trade, focusing on outstanding R&D activities.

The position of "Provider of high-tech agricultural solutions on the basis of sustainable development" is gradually affirmed by TTC AgriS through the business philosophy of Solutions - Sustainability - Technology.

These timely advances have created momentum for TTC AgriS to open up agricultural economic thinking and participate in the global supply chain of nutritional food and beverages.

Thanks to proactively standardizing its Governance activities to meet international practices, TTC AgriS quickly became the destination of leading financial institutions (such as IFC, SMBC, FCB Bank, and Group of large financial institutions).

Creating a series of new international cooperation opportunities on agricultural development 4.0 with leading organizations (Queensland State Government, Australia, Farmacist Agronomy Consulting Company, DEG - German Government Investment Fund...).

Ms. Uc My emphasized the urgency in promoting circular green economic value internationally, especially in the field of high-tech agriculture, at the Sustainable Development Conference on April 13, 2023 organized by Forbes Vietnam.

Compatible Potential - Open Potential in the Global Game

Aiming to elevate Vietnamese agriculture to the global trade value chain by mastering the internationalization trend, Ms. Uc My quickly grasped the potential for similar sustainable agricultural development in Australia to implement in-depth cooperation to promote the 4.0 agricultural value chain between the two countries.

This acknowledges the important contributions to positive trade and investment opportunities under the accompaniment of the Vietnamese and Australian governments.

Specifically, since 2022, TTC AgriS and the Queensland government, Australia have officially discussed strategies for developing high-tech agricultural solutions using biomass and biofuels, as well as training high-quality human resources, promoting agricultural extension and agronomic consulting.

At the same time, the company also aims to expand the raw material area to 20,000 hectares in Australia, applying the FRM (Farmer Relationship Management) digital farming management platform.

To date, TTC AgriS's existing raw material areas in Australia are all being operated according to Best Management Practices certified by Canegrowers.

The most recent sugar yield reached 12.4 tons/ha (CCS 13.1% and Sugarcane yield 95 tons/ha), higher than the average yield of the entire Factory and the Australian sugar industry of 11 tons/ha and 11.9 tons/ha respectively.

All precision farming operations are 100% mechanized with the support of RTK GPS measurement technology and the John Deere Operation Center data management platform for high accuracy with an error of less than 2.5 cm.

TTC AgriS also cooperates with Farmacist to comprehensively apply agronomic foundations in sugarcane nutrition management, from EM Soil Map to nutritional analysis and recommendations, ensuring optimal productivity and environmental protection according to Reef Regulation - Australia.

From the 2024-2025 school year, cooperation with universities and agronomy management units to test technology in agribusiness will be strengthened. Focus on nutrient management solutions, precision farming, integrated digital platforms and AI applications.

Technologies and initiatives will be tested on Australian farms to prove their effectiveness before being expanded to other raw material and crop areas of TTC AgriS.

Prioritizing solutions using AI and remote sensing to evaluate crop yield, health, detect pests and diseases, and assess the impact of natural disasters will begin from the 2024-2025 harvest.

Participating in the Australia - Vietnam Investment Forum 2023 as a speaker, Ms. Uc My assessed that the dynamic and constantly changing consumer market in Australia will be the best destination for sustainable agricultural raw materials to diversify TTC AgriS's global supply.
