Along with organizing training in 2023 for local militia forces in the area, the Tam Ky City Military Command also integrated mass mobilization work, carrying out many meaningful tasks.
Under the hot sun of early summer days, more than 120 officers and soldiers of the Tam Ky City Military Command and local militia and military branches organized a mass mobilization campaign in Tam Ngoc commune. The group divided into 2 groups, divided into cleaning, collecting garbage and clearing bushes on both sides of the rural road over 1km long in Dong Phu village.
At the same time, they cleaned up the road leading to the eco-tourism area of Ca Ban village, Tho Tan hamlet and leveled, renovated the ground, and decorated the boat dock area. Militiawoman Ho Thi Thanh in Hoa Huong ward shared that this was the first time she had participated in the activity, and she felt very happy and excited because she had contributed part of her efforts to the overall development of the locality.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Yen - Chairman of Tam Ngoc Commune People's Committee said that with the support of the city, the locality is currently focusing resources to build Ca Ban village and Tho Tan hamlet into a model rural area for developing eco-tourism.
The mass mobilization activities of the city's militia officers and soldiers this time have practical significance in supporting the locality in completing infrastructure to serve tourism development as well as ensuring hygiene and a clean and beautiful environment.
Lieutenant Colonel Vuong Chi Dung - Political Commissar of Tam Ky City Military Command said that in order to contribute to building strong grassroots politics, strengthening and consolidating national defense and security in the area, for many years, in training campaigns, the unit has combined organizing militia forces to do mass mobilization work, focusing on the community.
Thanks to good propaganda work, all local militia officers and soldiers clearly identified their awareness and responsibility in performing combat readiness tasks, especially the task of combining mass mobilization work in training.
In 2022, the City Military Command organized more than 10 combined mass mobilization and training sessions with the participation of more than 1,000 officers, soldiers, and local militia.
“Through specific and practical actions, officers and soldiers have left many good feelings, created trust and solidarity between the army and the people, and participated in building a strong local political base. Thereby, contributing to consolidating and building an increasingly solid defense zone in the new situation in the city,” said Lieutenant Colonel Vuong Chi Dung.
