On the evening of June 21, at Sa Pa Town Stadium, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Indian Embassy in Vietnam to organize the Vietnam - India Art Exchange Gala.
The program was attended by Mr. Roshan Lepcha, Political and Information Counselor, Chief of Office of the Embassy of India in Hanoi, his wife - Ms. Yanzi Lepcha; and representatives of the Vietnam Yoga Federation.
On the Lao Cai side, there were Ms. Giang Thi Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors; leaders of Sa Pa town; and a number of yoga clubs in the province.


The Vietnam - India Art Exchange Gala in Sa Pa is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 10th International Yoga Day in 2024. This is the third year that Lao Cai province has organized this special event. The activity aims to further strengthen the cooperative relationship, solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and India.

At the exchange, local people and tourists enjoyed special art performances by actors from the Indian Cultural Center in Vietnam and the Lao Cai Province Ethnic Art Troupe. Along with that, special artistic Yoga performances by domestic and international Yoga clubs also left an impression on the audience.





The Vietnam - India Art Exchange Gala is a practical activity to celebrate the 52nd anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - India diplomatic relations; 17th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - India strategic partnership. At the same time, the event also marks a step forward in the formation of new tourism products: "Healing tourism; health recovery tourism combined with Yoga practice in Sa Pa".
