At the summer opening ceremony and the nationwide exercise campaign, Mr. Vu Van Binh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Jut district, pointed out the reality of child injuries, most of which are caused by drowning. Therefore, the nationwide swimming campaign and the provision of knowledge and skills to prevent drowning for students and children are necessary solutions to reduce the rate of drowning and improve the health of the community in general and children in particular.
Right after the launching ceremony, the swimming competition for age groups took place in Cu Jut district. The competition had the participation of 54 athletes in 4 events of 3 age groups. Thanks to careful training, the athletes performed quite well in their competitions.
At the end of the age group swimming tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded first, second and third prizes to athletes with achievements in the 2023 swimming tournament.
