In order to create a healthy, joyful and useful playground for children during the summer days. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union Council of Quang Ninh organized a Festival of Young Propaganda Teams with the theme "Prevention of drowning, injuries and child abuse" in 2024.
With the theme "Prevention of drowning, injuries and child abuse", the 2024 Young Propaganda Teams Festival is divided into 2 main competition clusters. The district competition cluster takes place on August 9 at the Cultural and Sports Center of Ha Long commune, Van Don district with 7 teams. The town and city competition cluster takes place on the morning of August 12 at the hall of the People's Committee of Quang Yen town with the participation of 6 teams.
The teams participating in the festival will have to go through 3 competitions: Talented Young Pioneers, Wise Young Pioneers and Propaganda Young Pioneers. The teams participating in the 2024 Propaganda Young Pioneers Festival have brought attractive, practical, exciting and equally dramatic performances revolving around the issues of drowning prevention and child injury, abuse and violence. Thereby, contributing to conveying messages about drowning prevention, injury and child abuse prevention in a realistic, vivid, impressive and effective way of the Youth Union - Pioneer organizations.
At the end of the festival, at the competition cluster of districts, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Young Propaganda Team of Binh Lieu district; the Young Propaganda Team of Van Don district and Ba Che district received the second prize; the third prize went to the Young Propaganda Team of Hai Ha district and Tien Yen district; the Young Propaganda Team of Dam Ha district and Co To district received the consolation prize.
At the City and Town Competition Cluster, the Young Propaganda Team of Ha Long City won the first prize; the Young Propaganda Team of Mong Cai City won the second prize; the Young Propaganda Team of Cam Pha City and Quang Yen Town won the third prize; the Team of Uong Bi City and Dong Trieu Town received the consolation prize.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded the Talented Young Pioneers - Wise Young Pioneers - Propaganda Young Pioneers to the teams.
Festival of Young Propaganda Teams with the theme "Prevention of drowning, injuries and child abuse" organized is an opportunity to raise awareness, improve skills for children and the whole society on preventing drowning, accidents, injuries and child abuse; discover and replicate good models and creative ways of protecting children in the province. At the same time, this is a playground for children to have the opportunity to exchange, learn and share experiences to contribute to building the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team stronger and stronger.
