Of the 11 establishments fined by the Hanoi Department of Health Inspectorate, two establishments were fined VND22.5 million for advertising special services without having the content confirmed by a competent state agency before advertising. They are Ba Dinh Dental Clinic, No. 76 Phan Ke Binh, Cong Vi Ward, Ba Dinh District; and Binh Minh Dental Clinic, No. 50 Minh Khai Street, Truong Dinh Ward, Hai Ba Trung District. In addition to being fined, the establishments were forced to remove and dismantle their advertising content on the internet.
Hanoi Department of Health informs about penalties for violating facilities
Three establishments were fined 15 million VND, including: My Anh Trading and Service Joint Stock Company, counter 538; Hugico Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Company Limited, counter 544; Asia Pharmaceutical Company Limited, counter 306. All three establishments are located in building 24T1 Hapulico, No. 1 Nguyen Huy Tuong, Thanh Xuan Trung Ward, Thanh Xuan District. These establishments were fined for not keeping documents related to the batch of drugs and pharmaceutical ingredients within the required retention period as prescribed by law.
Three establishments were fined VND7.5 million for not complying with regulations on good retail practices for pharmaceutical establishments, including: Dat pharmacy, No. 55, Alley 187/49, Hong Mai Street, Quynh Loi Ward, Hai Ba Trung District; Linh Dan pharmacy, No. 26, Alley 127, Van Cao Street, Lieu Giai Ward, Ba Dinh District; Trung Thanh 1 pharmacy, No. 351 De La Thanh, O Cho Dua Ward, Dong Da District.
The Hanoi Department of Health Inspectorate also imposed a fine of VND2 million on Nguyen Thi Chau Oriental Medicine and Herbal Medicine Facility, No. 28 Lan Ong Street, Hang Bo Ward, Hoan Kiem District, because the facility did not open a book or use a computer to manage import, export, storage, and track batch numbers, expiry dates, origins of drugs, and other related information as prescribed.
Hanoi Private General Hospital, affiliated with HANO Medical Joint Stock Company, No. 29 Han Thuyen, Pham Dinh Ho Ward, Hai Ba Trung District, was fined VND8 million for promoting methods to obtain the desired gender of the fetus. The Department of Health Inspectorate also confiscated articles promoting methods to obtain the desired gender of the fetus on the internet and requested the unit to remove this content.
Sao Viet Hanoi Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (address at house number 5, lot N2A, resettlement area X2A, Yen So ward, Hoang Mai district) was fined 50 million VND for not submitting a request for periodic assessment of maintaining compliance with good drug distribution practices as prescribed by law.
Since the beginning of September, the Hanoi Department of Health Inspectorate has inspected and issued decisions to fine 17 medical and pharmaceutical establishments, with a total fine of 291.5 million VND.
