Propaganda work in Quang Nam leaves its mark from the grassroots

Online history test

In early April 2024, the Standing Committee of Dai Loc District Party Committee launched the online contest "Dien Bien Phu Victory - Immortal Epic" (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) attracting more than 39,150 participants.

Implementing the direction of the Standing Committee of Dai Loc District Party Committee, the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department regularly urges and monitors the implementation of the contest in localities, agencies and units.

The results showed that the number of people who answered 14/14 questions correctly reached 72.5% (phase 1) and 83.3% (phase 2). Notably, some Party cells under the District Party Committee implemented the contest well and had a 100% participation rate of Party members.

The Standing Committee of Dai Loc District Party Committee assessed that the contest was organized in the form of online testing, meeting the requirements of applying information technology, digital transformation in propaganda activities, wide spreading, saving costs and time.

After each exam, the Organizing Committee promptly announced the results on Truong An's Facebook page, receiving the attention, follow-up and interaction of many people in the district.

Thereby contributing to widely propagating among cadres, party members, people of all walks of life, especially the young generation of the district about the significance, stature and great historical value of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

In the first 6 months of 2024, the outstanding activities of the propaganda sector of Dai Loc District Party Committee were also recognized through the video clip creation contest "Glorious Party, Great President Ho Chi Minh - Keep the faith".

From the results of the contest, according to Mr. Doan Ngoc Tuan - Head of the Propaganda Department of Dai Loc District Party Committee, in addition to the form of oral propaganda, grassroots party organizations, agencies, units and localities continue to focus on innovating propaganda methods through the application of information technology. Accordingly, taking advantage of the advantages of social networks to diversify and improve the quality and effectiveness of propaganda work.

Spread through competitions

Propaganda work at the grassroots level since the beginning of 2024 has been marked by propaganda competitions on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. The competitions held in localities have become extensive political activities, with the participation of a large number of cadres, party members and people.

Ms. Tran Thi Thu Sang - Head of the Propaganda Department of Phu Ninh District Party Committee said that there were 17 party cells and party committees participating in the contest organized by Phu Ninh District Party Committee.

The contest is a political activity organized in residential areas, reflecting a fairly realistic picture of the results of implementing Conclusion No. 01 dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo at the grassroots level.

At the same time, it contributes to further promoting propaganda work, raising awareness, creating effects and spreading power among cadres, union members, association members and people, making studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style a voluntary and regular activity in localities, agencies and units.

Evaluating the contest organized by the Tam Ky City Party Committee, Mr. Pham Van Tuong - Deputy Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Head of the Jury, said that the teams invested in carefully staging the content and form, demonstrating the spirit, responsibility and desire to spread the ideology, morality and style of Uncle Ho. The spread of the skits was due to the softening of the content and the way of expression associated with specific actions in the locality and unit.

In each scene, the audience plays the role of the character in the smoke and fire of war; of the young Annamese man in France, of the female street sweeper on New Year's Eve; or the transformation in thoughts and actions of the villains...

It can be said that the 18 skits of the participating units brought a vivid picture of life, good ways of studying and following Uncle Ho. The encouragement and answers to the audience's questions also enriched the content of the contest and contributed to spreading Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" - Mr. Tuong expressed.
