BPO - The implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Development is a shared responsibility. Therefore, the district cannot leave the responsibility to the commune; the Coordination Office and the province cannot leave the responsibility to the district either. All must share responsibility, coordinate smoothly, and implement effectively to overcome difficulties and complete the set plan goals.
Overview of the meeting
On the afternoon of August 7, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tue Hien chaired a meeting to review the proposal of the Provincial Office of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction on the list of communes striving to achieve new rural, advanced new rural, and model new rural status; and districts striving to achieve new rural status by 2024.
Leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the province spoke at the meeting.
In 2024, the whole province has 5 communes striving to reach the new rural finish line, including: Tan Hung, Hon Quan district; Nghia Binh, Dong Nai, Dang Ha communes, Bu Dang district; Phu Van commune, Bu Gia Map district. There are 6 communes striving to reach the advanced new rural finish line, including: Thanh Phu commune, Binh Long town; Nha Bich commune, Chon Thanh town; Tan Phuoc commune, Dong Phu district; Loc Hung commune, Loc Ninh district; Tan Quan commune, Hon Quan district; Binh Tan commune, Phu Rieng district. There are 2 communes striving to reach the model new rural finish line, which are Phuoc Tin, Phuoc Long town and Loc Thai, Loc Ninh district. The district striving to reach the new rural finish line is Phu Rieng district. |
At the meeting, local leaders reported to Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tue Hien on the review of criteria, roadmap, and difficulties in the implementation of the program. The reports from the localities showed that despite certain difficulties, especially in terms of investment capital, all localities showed high political determination to complete the implementation plan of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in 2024.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tue Hien requested local leaders to promote initiative to focus on implementing solutions effectively. The Coordination Office must strengthen inspection, review, guidance, and reporting on the progress of the new rural construction process in localities. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tue Hien emphasized that the implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction is a shared responsibility. Therefore, the district must not leave the communes alone; the Coordination Office and the province must not leave the district alone; all must share responsibility, coordinate smoothly, and implement effectively to overcome difficulties and complete the set goals and plans.
