(GLO)- Feeling the charm of the land and people of the mountain town, artist Dinh Nhat Tan fell in love with this place at first sight. The artist's "to remember and to love" sentiment remains in the space of Lem coffee (169 Ton Duc Thang, Pleiku City) near the "pearl eye" of Bien Ho.

Lem coffee space is imbued with the spirit of the Central Highlands, the view overlooking the pine forest reflecting the "full Lake" all year round is "something to remember", to hold tourists' feet when coming to Gia Lai.
Artist Dinh Nhat Tan said that the first time he came to Gia Lai was as a tourist. While leisurely strolling around Bien Ho Lake, he felt the cool water vapor on his skin in the middle of summer. The pine trees rustled like a gentle melody following each step of the tourist. A bunch of bananas ripened right on the belt road for pedestrians. The sound of birds, a few squirrels saw people but were not scared but were busy playing with the pine cones. That moment made the artist's heart flutter because of the gentleness and loveliness of this land.

The Hre ethnic artist said: “While feeling the charm of this place, a friend connected and introduced me to a coffee shop that was being transferred near the famous Bien Ho tourist attraction. That is my fate with the mountain town. I decided to turn Lem coffee into a space that carries the spirit and beauty of this place. Lem in Hre means simple, genuine beauty. That is also what I want people who come to Lem coffee or travel to Gia Lai to feel, that relaxed, rustic beauty.”

Having decorated many famous coffee shops, featuring the cultural characteristics of different regions, artist Dinh Nhat Tan created an artistic space at Lem coffee.
Visitors not only enjoy drinks but also admire the collection of wooden statues and masks of the Central Highlands with various shapes and colors. In every corner of the shop, the chairs, wooden stairs, the collection of statues, masks... are all imbued with the cultural flavor of the Central Highlands. The artist has dedicated a room to display wooden sculptures for visitors to enjoy.

The artist born in 1981 shared: “I am a Hre ethnic child born in the forest, living close to nature since childhood, so I love things that belong to nature. I believe that protecting Mother Nature is also protecting my own life. Therefore, the sculptures in the shop are all made from recycled wood. In that way, I want to give wood one or more other lives.”
Sitting at Lem coffee on a rainy afternoon, diners can take in the tranquil beauty of the most famous Bien Ho scenic spot on the Gia Lai tourist map. The lake surface is like a giant mirror reflecting the thousand-year history of a land with legends. The sound of pine trees blends with the rustic sound of wind chimes to create a soul-stirring afternoon melody.
So, to admire the scenic Bien Ho, it is difficult to miss Lem coffee to experience the culture and flavor of this land rich in identity.
Artist Dinh Nhat Tan: “I want visitors to come here not only to have another check-in place next to the famous Bien Ho landscape, but also to feel the lifestyle of the local people. Recently, at Lem coffee, a summer market took place for ethnic minorities to display, exchange and buy and sell goods, agricultural products and brocades. Or a book exchange program for young people to exchange, share reading tastes and personal feelings.”
