Through inspection and supervision, the effectiveness of studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings has been further improved. Many units have had good directions and methods, thereby promptly detecting limitations and shortcomings, warning about problems arising in implementation and proposing solutions that bring positive results.
When the role of the Party Committee and the leader is promoted
In La Gi Town Party Committee, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is considered one of the key contents and tasks that need to be carried out regularly in the town. The results of studying and following Uncle Ho will be one of the criteria for this locality to evaluate, review and classify Party organizations, Party members, union members and association members annually. The Standing Committee of La Gi Town Party Committee assessed that: in any place or time where the Party Committee, the head of the agency or unit does not pay attention to the inspection and supervision work, the implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW will not be systematic, studying and following Uncle Ho's ideology, morality and style will not become a regular task, and the results achieved in implementation will not be high. In localities, agencies and units where the Party Committee and heads of agencies and units pay attention to leadership, direction and strengthening inspection and supervision work, it will bring about high results in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
Clearly identifying the above issue, in recent years, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has directed the strengthening of inspection and supervision of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style at all levels of Party committees, agencies and units, especially promoting the role of leaders in leading, directing implementation, inspection and supervision. The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has regularly directed through relevant conferences the assessment of the results of implementing quarterly, 6-month and annual tasks; assigned the Propaganda Department of the City Party Committee to regularly grasp the situation, synthesize and advise the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to lead and direct in a timely manner. At grassroots Party committees, agencies and units, the Party Committee Secretary, the head of the agency or unit, is assigned the task of organizing the implementation, and at the same time directly inspecting and supervising the implementation of studying and following Uncle Ho in their organizations, agencies and units in conjunction with the assigned tasks. In 3 consecutive years from 2021 to 2023, La Gi town has organized 3 inspections of 39 agencies, units and localities (1 inspection per year, 13 agencies and units per inspection). The grassroots Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the town have developed inspection and supervision plans at their agencies, units and localities.

The inspection and supervision has been carried out objectively, the preparation work has ensured compliance with regulations and procedures, thereby promptly correcting deviations, skimming, or lack of attention, and formal implementation. In the coming time, La Gi town will continue to strengthen inspection and supervision and promote the role of Party committees, heads of agencies and units in inspection and supervision; ensuring that leadership and direction are communicated from top to bottom, creating motivation to strive to complete tasks”, said the leader of La Gi Town Party Committee.

Meanwhile, at the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee, in recent times, in order for the study and following of Uncle Ho to go deeper and bring about great effectiveness, this unit has strengthened its leadership and direction in the inspection and supervision of Party committees and subordinate Party organizations on the content, objects, time, methods, and forms of thoroughly understanding directives, resolutions, plans, and instructions from above on continuing to implement the Directive. At the same time, inspect and supervise the concretization and promulgation of plans by collectives and individuals to be close to reality, requirements, assigned political tasks and responsibilities or not? Has the plan focused on weak points, weak aspects, and breakthrough content or not? Is there a good way to do it in the implementation plan that needs to be implemented? And especially the role in thoroughly understanding and implementing the principles of democratic centralism, self-criticism and criticism, the spirit of solidarity and unity in leadership, direction, and administration of Party committees, Party organizations, and the entire Party Committee.
According to Colonel Tran Viet Hung, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, the role and responsibility of the leader in inspecting and supervising Party committees and organizations at all levels is also reflected in the dissemination and implementation of advanced models and examples that have been deployed and promoted effectively in implementing Directive 05 such as: Solidarity of fishing boats to exploit seafood at sea; Assigning officers to be in charge of vehicles at high risk of violating foreign waters; The program to help children go to school; Assigning party members to be in charge of households... At the same time, surveying, evaluating and implementing new models such as: Love rice jar, Border Guard piggy bank, sponsoring 13 students who are children of ethnic minorities in the coastal border area under the program to help children go to school.
However, the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee also acknowledged that this issue still reveals some shortcomings and limitations. That is, some units have not implemented effective models; the work of building and expanding typical advanced collectives and individuals has not been regular and stable. From there, the Provincial Border Guard Command determined that in the coming time, it will focus on leading and directing Party committees and organizations at all levels, especially leaders, in innovating the content and form of implementing conclusions and directives to be more substantive and in-depth; deploying many practical and meaningful models and movements, creating a widespread influence in units and military areas. At the same time, strengthening political and ideological education, education of traditions and ethical standards according to Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style. Maintaining the tradition of emulation movements to win, sudden and peak emulation periods; oriented to implement Conclusion No. 01, Directive No. 05 of the Politburo to successfully carry out assigned political tasks. In addition, it will review and select the weak points and weak aspects pointed out to focus on leadership; make breakthroughs to rectify the working style, manners, and sense of responsibility of cadres and party members. Combine the building and replication of typical advanced collectives and individuals with promoting propaganda work on mass media to create a widespread spread in the unit and community.
