Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Han visited and gave gifts to young people preparing to join the army.

The delegation visited the family of young man Nguyen Kien Huy, No Cong hamlet, Thuan Hoa commune, Cau Ngang district.

Also attending were Colonel Le Van Can, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command; representatives of specialized departments and offices of the Provincial Military Command; leaders of the People's Committee and military agencies of Cau Ngang district and Duyen Hai town.

The delegation visited the families of young people Nguyen Kien Huy, No Cong hamlet, Thuan Hoa commune; Kim Xuan Bay, Son Lang hamlet, Long Son commune, Cau Ngang district; Pham Xuan Quang, Hamlet 1, Ward 2; Pham Thanh Duy, Cho hamlet, Hiep Thanh commune, Duyen Hai town.

The delegation visited the family of young man Kim Xuan Bay, Son Lang hamlet, Long Son commune, Cau Ngang district.

At the families, comrade Le Van Han praised the enthusiastic volunteer spirit of the young people and the support, encouragement and motivation of their families so that the young people could confidently join the army.

Comrade Le Van Han emphasized: performing military service is both a sacred responsibility and a source of pride for each young person and their family towards the Fatherland. The military environment will help young people have good conditions to continue studying, training and growing up. From there, they will become excellent citizens who contribute to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Comrade Le Van Han visited and encouraged young man Pham Xuan Quang, Hamlet 1, Ward 2, Duyen Hai town.

Comrade Le Van Han believes that the young people will continue to promote the traditions of their homeland, cultivate revolutionary ethics, and follow the glorious traditions of previous generations in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also informed the families and young people about the policies and regimes when young people join the army, and visited the living conditions, thoughts and aspirations of the young people and their families, and presented each young person with a gift.

Representatives of the families and youth expressed their gratitude to the provincial leaders and the working delegation, and promised to strive to fulfill their civic duties, worthy of the traditions of the nation and the heroic Vietnam People's Army.

Comrade Le Van Han visited and presented gifts to Pham Thanh Duy, Cho Hamlet, Hiep Thanh Commune, Duyen Hai Town.

In 2025, Tra Vinh province was assigned the target of selecting and calling 1,227 citizens to join the army; of which 901 citizens joined the military service, units including Division 9, Corps 4; Division 8, Military Region 9; Military Command, Provincial Border Guard Command and 326 citizens performing their duty to join the People's Public Security.

Cau Ngang district alone has 149 citizens joining the army, Duyen Hai town has 70 citizens joining the army.
