At the meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee listened to Chairman of the Economic Committee Vu Hong Thanh present a summary report on the reception, explanation and revision of the draft Land Law (amended). Accordingly, under the close direction of the National Assembly and Government leaders, in the past time, the National Assembly and Government agencies have closely, promptly and effectively coordinated in receiving, explaining and revising the draft Law.
The agencies have spent a lot of time discussing, researching, absorbing, explaining and perfecting the technical solutions to express the policies to ensure clear and unified understanding, accurately reflecting the content of each policy in the draft Law.
The draft Land Law (amended) after being accepted and revised includes 16 chapters and 260 articles. Compared to the draft Law submitted to the National Assembly Standing Committee at the meeting between the two sessions of the 6th Session, the draft Law has removed 5 articles, completed, revised and amended 250 articles.
Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee Vu Hong Thanh also briefly reported on a number of major issues of receiving, explaining and revising the draft Law, including: Unified contents; some contents requesting opinions from the National Assembly Standing Committee; some specific contents receiving and explaining opinions from the Standing Committee of the Nationalities Council and the National Assembly Committees...

Based on the opinions expressed at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai gave a concluding speech on this content.
On the afternoon of January 9, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on explaining, accepting and revising the draft Law on Credit Institutions (amended); consider explaining the provisions in Clause 1, Article 6 of the Law on Public Investment and close the 29th Session.
