Implementing phase I: from 2021-2025, the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas (abbreviated as National Target Program 1719), Nghe An has achieved many positive results in the fields of life, socio-economy, infrastructure... The contest was held at 6 Boarding Secondary Schools for Ethnic Minorities, Primary and Secondary Boarding Schools for Ethnic Minorities in the district. Each school established 4 teams according to grades 6, 7, 8, 9. These are the main subjects and also the victims of early marriage and incestuous marriage in the ethnic minority areas in the district.
The contest was organized in a theatrical format; the teams went through 3 rounds, including: greeting, knowledge and skit. The contest content revolved around issues such as: Understanding the harms and consequences of early marriage and consanguineous marriage; solutions to prevent early marriage and consanguineous marriage; policies and laws related to the Law on Marriage and Family; policies and guidelines of the Party and State on reducing early marriage and consanguineous marriage in ethnic minority areas; gender equality in ethnic minority areas; child care and education, etc.
Through the contest, it aims to strengthen propaganda and mobilization to carry out local political tasks, create a joyful and exciting atmosphere among union members, members and people of all walks of life in the process of building and developing the socio-economy of the district. Thereby, promoting propaganda and mobilization of union members and young people to change their awareness to prevent and reduce the situation of early marriage and incestuous marriage, contributing to improving the quality of population and human resources in the district's ethnic minority areas.
