Quang Nam has a new Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions

Kinhtedothi - Mr. A Vo To Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Giang district was appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Quang Nam.

On February 17, the Standing Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee announced the decision to transfer and appoint comrade A Vo To Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Giang district to hold the position of Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Quang Nam province from February 20, 2025.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, presented the decision and flowers to congratulate Mr. A Vo To Phuong.

The Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Quang Nam province was established on the basis of the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee receiving additional functions, tasks, and organization of the State management apparatus on beliefs and religions from the Department of Home Affairs.

Mr. A Vo To Phuong was born in 1971, Co Tu ethnic group, hometown Za Hung commune, Dong Giang district, Quang Nam province, professional qualification is Master of Public Policy, political theory level: advanced.

On the same day, Mr. Nguyen Van Luom - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Giang district was transferred to work at the Thang Binh District Party Committee.

Mr. Luom was appointed to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Thang Binh District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term from March 1, 2025.

Mr. Thai Hoang Vu was appointed to hold the position of Chief of Office of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee.

On the same afternoon, Mr. Thai Hoang Vu, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Tra My district was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Chief of Office of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province from February 20, 2025.
