The two boats returned heavily loaded with herring. The total catch of the two boats was estimated at more than 15 tons of herring.
Immediately after the ship reached shore, Vinh city leaders and local authorities promptly arrived to encourage and present flags to encourage fishermen to stick to fishing grounds and exploit seafood to develop the economy.
With more than 15 tons of fresh herring "quickly sold" right at the dock, the two boats also earned about 186 million VND. After deducting expenses, each crew member on the two fishing boats also earned 6.8 million VND after 1 day at sea.
