Binh Duong is the latest province to announce its 10th grade enrollment plan for the 2025-2026 school year.
According to the announcement, students taking the entrance exam for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year in Binh Duong must take three compulsory subjects: Literature, Math and English; Candidates applying to Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, in addition to taking the 3 compulsory subjects as above, must also take an additional specialized subject based on the number of specialized subjects the candidate has registered for (each candidate can only register for a maximum of 2 specialized subjects).
The time for Math and Literature tests is 120 minutes/subject, and the time for English tests is 60 minutes.
Thus, the third subject for the 10th grade entrance exam in 2025-2026 in Binh Duong is English.

Hai Phong City People's Committee recently approved the plan to select subjects for the entrance exam to Grade 10 public high schools, school year 2025-2026 as proposed by the Department of Education and Training, including 3 subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language.
The format and duration of the exams are as follows: Math is multiple-choice, 90 minutes; Literature is essay-based, 120 minutes; Foreign Language is multiple-choice, 60 minutes. Foreign Language includes one of the following subjects: English, French, Russian, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.

According to the regulations on secondary school and high school admissions issued by the Ministry of Education and Training on January 8, the 10th grade entrance exam will include 3 subjects: Math, Literature, and the third subject (test) selected by the Department of Education and Training from the subjects assessed by scores in the secondary school general education program, including Foreign Language 1, History and Geography, Civic Education, Natural Sciences, Technology, and Information Technology.
The announcement date for the third exam is no later than March 31st every year.
