Although it is still nearly a month until Tet Giap Thin, parks, monuments and famous landmarks in the center of Ho Chi Minh City have been decorated in Tet style, attracting many people to come and take pictures.
On the morning of November 13, at a shopping mall near Notre Dame Cathedral, a space of more than 50 meters long was filled with spring colors. This area is close to prominent city monuments such as the City Post Office, Reunification Palace, Turtle Lake, 30/4 Park... so it is bustling every holiday season.

This year, the shopping mall has decorated miniatures with the theme of Tet in three regions. Many people in colorful traditional ao dai pose for photos.

Each scene was crowded with people taking pictures in the cool Saigon weather on the first day of the year. Security guards constantly reminded visitors not to move the decorations.

Ms. Le Phan Diep Trinh, 30 years old, in Thu Duc City, holds a branch of apricot blossom to take pictures with Ao Dai. The girl said that because the price of renting clothes and accessories is quite high, she bought a set to have beautiful pictures during Tet.
"I came out early and saw a lot of people. The atmosphere was very cheerful, but it was not easy to take a good photo," Trinh said.

100 meters away, Ho Chi Minh City Post Office is also crowded with people coming to walk around and take souvenir photos.

Near Tet, this place not only attracts many tourists to learn about Vietnamese culture but also many people come to take pictures and enjoy cultural activities.

Ms. Phuong Dung (left corner) not only prepared the ao dai, basket, flowers, and fan, but also brought a light reflector to take beautiful pictures.

Ngoc Tran's group (far left) brought a Vespa to the post office, dressed in ao dai and ba ba to take pictures in the style of old Saigon.
"Before that, I went to Ben Thanh market and Turtle Lake to take pictures, but both places were crowded. Many people waited for dozens of minutes to take pictures with the antique car," said Ms. Diem.

Ms. Nguyen Hong Diem holds her phone and takes a selfie with the group members in front of the City Post Office. The whole group agreed to wear Ao Dai and glasses to create their own style.

"The weather has been cool these days, and all the entertainment spots in the city center are crowded, so I brought home-made flowers to sell to people to use as spring photo accessories," said Lan Anh, 31 years old.
Flower rental stalls near the Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral are crowded with customers, with prices around 50,000 VND per bouquet, for use within two hours.

The streets around the center such as Le Duan, Pham Ngoc Thach, Cong Xa Paris... are also bustling with ao dai on the streets.
