Fire breaks out in 4-story house in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, many people flee

The fire broke out at 4:00 p.m. on May 14 at a four-story house on Hung Hoa Street, Ward 6, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City.

At that time, many people discovered that the 3rd floor of a 4-story house on Hung Hoa Street was on fire. Hearing the screams, the people living inside panicked and ran outside.

Some people used mini fire extinguishers to try to control the fire but failed.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police - Tan Binh District Police arrived at the scene, carrying oxygen tanks to the 3rd floor to spray water to put out the fire. After more than 30 minutes, the fire was controlled.

At the scene, the third floor of the house was burned down with much property, the walls were covered in black smoke. The damage and cause of the fire are currently being clarified.

The more solid the 'tiger cage' is, the more difficult it is to escape when a fire breaks out . The fire that killed 4 people on the morning of May 13 in Hanoi once again sounded the alarm about safety in buildings with tube-shaped architecture and using "tiger cages".
