(Dan Tri Newspaper) - A furniture store in Binh Phuoc caught fire on the afternoon of the first day of Tet (Lunar New Year), then spread to a curtain and electrical appliance store. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any casualties.

The fire broke out on the afternoon of January 29th (the first day of the Lunar New Year, Year of the Snake) at a furniture store in Ward 5, Hung Long Commune, Chon Thanh Town (Binh Phuoc Province).

At that moment, the fire erupted fiercely, and many people quickly moved their belongings out and tried to put it out, but without success. In just a few minutes, the fire spread to the curtain and electrical appliance store.

Upon receiving the report, the Binh Phuoc Police dispatched fire trucks and approximately 40 officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire. After nearly an hour of effort, the fire was completely put out.

The fire destroyed many items inside three shops, but fortunately there were no casualties. The burned area covered approximately 200 square meters. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by the authorities.
