A car garage located in lane 543 Giai Phong street (Hanoi) suddenly caught fire. People tried to put out the fire but failed.
According to initial information, on the evening of February 13, a fire broke out at a car garage located in lane 543 Giai Phong Street (Hoang Mai District, Hanoi).
Witnesses said that at around 7 p.m., they discovered smoke and fire coming from the auto repair shop.
People quickly shouted and tried to put out the fire, but because there were many flammable materials inside, the fire burned fiercely with a column of black smoke billowing high.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Force dispatched two fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. About 30 minutes later, the fire was under control.
Some witnesses said that at the time of the incident, the garage staff had closed and returned home, so there were no casualties.
This garage is about 30-40 square meters wide, partly built with brick walls and a corrugated iron roof. The fire caused part of the corrugated iron roof to deform and collapse.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
