Chau Thanh District People's Committee and An Giang Telecom signed a cooperation agreement on digital transformation for the period 2023 - 2025

Vice Chairman of Chau Thanh District People's Committee Ho Huu Tai said that in recent years, along with the development of economy, culture and society, the application of information technology by state administrative agencies; building e-government and digital government has always received special attention from district leaders, in order to improve the efficiency of operations and leadership and administration of the government.

With the viewpoint of taking people and enterprises as the center, Chau Thanh District Smart Operation Center is invested and built on modern technology platforms, helping people and enterprises to access smart urban services in the fastest and most convenient way. People and enterprises can participate in monitoring government activities through applications on mobile devices, social networks, etc.

The Chau Thanh District Smart Operations Center, once operational, will be a place to aggregate information and data sources in various fields. In particular, it will provide local government leaders with a comprehensive, focused, and timely view of ongoing activities, monitor, support command, and manage service quality in a comprehensive manner, allowing for big data analysis, decision support, and the development of organizational plans, mechanisms, and operating policies for specific situations.

Thereby, bringing efficiency and opportunities for the development of industries, fields and socio-economy, helping people to participate in monitoring local government activities, contributing to building a civilized and modern Chau Thanh district, bringing many practical benefits to people and businesses.

When put into operation, the Smart Operations Center is very important for the leadership and management of the district. This is an effective management tool, helping district leaders grasp activities in the fields of: Economy; culture - society; administrative reform... quickly and intuitively to have appropriate orientations, plans and decisions. At the same time, it is an important bridge between people, businesses and the government.

Chau Thanh District People's Committee requested An Giang Telecommunications to continue to closely coordinate with the steering committee and the support team to monitor the trial operation process; promptly adjust and optimize the subsystems and fields that have been integrated into the operation center. In addition, coordinate with the district's specialized departments and offices to continue implementing phase 2, integrating the fields of the An Giang e-Project into the district's Smart Operation Center; continue to advise and support the district with solutions to gradually build and perfect the functions of a smart city...

In order for the Chau Thanh District Smart Operation Center to operate effectively, Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy requested that sectors and localities proactively exploit the information and utilities of the center to serve the direction and operation work. The District People's Committee resolutely directed specialized departments, divisions and offices to coordinate smoothly, provide complete data; monitor, process and provide information promptly, ensuring that the data at the center is always "correct, sufficient, clean and alive"; do a good job of propaganda so that people and businesses know and use the service. In addition, An Giang Telecommunications continues to pay attention to, provide technical support and professional training for the team participating in operating the Chau Thanh District Smart Operation Center, ensuring the system operates stably, smoothly and effectively.

Smart cities are an inevitable trend in the era of the 4.0 industrial revolution to take advantage of and apply scientific and technological advances in management and administration, improving the effectiveness of leadership and management. In the coming time, Chau Thanh district will focus on leading and directing to complete the Smart Operations Center, contributing to building Chau Thanh into a smart city, creating a breakthrough in development.
