(Dan Tri) - The female singer has just released a MV called "Hanoi, Day... month... year...", a nostalgic love song "tailored" for her lyrical voice.
On the evening of November 6, female singer Nhat Huyen released the MV Hanoi, Day... month... year... - a song composed and produced by musician Ta Duy Tuan.
The song was honored to win the A prize in the contest to compose new songs about Hanoi on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024) organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The song not only brings subtle vibes through Nhat Huyen's mezzo alto voice but also paints a poetic and stirring picture of Hanoi.
MV Hanoi, Day... month... year... takes viewers back to the 70s and 80s of the last century with familiar street corners such as: Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Phung Hung Street, Phan Dinh Phung, Long Bien Bridge, West Lake, Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake...
The image of the capital in autumn appears poetic with street vendors, ancient streets and especially handwritten letters filled with love between couples, also bringing many emotions to the audience.
Sharing about the MV, musician Ta Duy Tuan confided that the song was written from the story of his parents - Hanoians who spent their entire youth loving each other, nurturing their family and building good things.
"I chose the theme of a handwritten letter, as a symbol of connection. The letters of "Hanoi of the past" often begin very simply: Hanoi, Date... Month... Year... perhaps almost no longer exists in this era, but only lives in memories and nostalgia," said the male musician.
Singer Nhat Huyen confided that although she was not born in Hanoi, this land has given her many memories.
"The song has such a beautiful melody that when I sing it, I feel like a part of my memory has come back to life. I am very happy to bring this song to everyone," the female singer shared.
Not only a musical product, Hanoi, Day... month... year... is also the love and gratitude of Nhat Huyen and Ta Duy Tuan and the whole crew for Hanoi. Especially for a generation of people who have been attached through the ups and downs of the Capital.
Nhat Huyen's real name is Bui Thi Thu Huyen, currently a lecturer in the Vocal Music Department, Military University of Culture and Arts, holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
