Born and raised in a patriotic family, Le Huu Trong had patriotic thoughts from a very early age. Facing his parents' lingering affection, Le Huu Trong understood that he had to be steadfast in his revolutionary ideals.
True Reproduction of Le Huu Trong
The impressive incarnation of Ly Tu Trong as a child in the show "Childhood and Great Ambition" is Cong Minh (10 years old), from Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province.
When she sang Nghe Tinh folk songs, it was both sweet and sorrowful, expressing very soulfully her great determination, her hatred for the enemy, and the moment she had to choose between loving her country and being with her parents.
On the evening of October 20, in Ha Tinh province, a special art program “Forever the revolutionary path of the youth” and a ceremony to celebrate the 110th anniversary of Ly Tu Trong’s birth took place. The program was organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in coordination with Ha Tinh province.
Attending the ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; Mr. Bui Quang Huy - First Secretary of the Central Youth Union; leaders of Ha Tinh province... together with representatives of many central and local departments, and a large number of people, youth of Ha Tinh province and Youth Union officials from many provinces and cities.
Cong Minh sang Nghe Tinh folk songs, the audience could not hold back their tears. Although still very young, Cong Minh clearly portrayed the hero Ly Tu Trong as a child.
The play "Young Age, Great Ambition" by People's Artist Nguyen An Ninh is one of the performances in the art program at the 110th anniversary of the birth of hero Ly Tu Trong.
The success of the play is not only thanks to this character, however Cong Minh is like a strong impression, touching the hearts of the audience.

You have to understand him to "live" him.
Cong Minh said he practiced this act for less than a week. In order for him to best express Ly Tu Trong's state of mind before leaving his family to join the revolution, the troupe took him to burn incense for Ly Tu Trong and told him about his life.
Singer Bich Lien, who works at the Ha Tinh Traditional Arts Theater and plays Ly Tu Trong’s mother in the play, said: “Cong Minh has talent. Just by looking at the lines, he easily memorized them and performed them himself. With the support of People’s Artist An Ninh and People’s Artist Hong Luu, Cong Minh brought out the character’s soul very well.”
Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Lan, Cong Minh's mother, said that he had been singing Nghe Tinh folk songs since he was 8 years old. Although he was not born into a family with an artistic tradition, when he saw his older brother Cong Anh (then in 6th grade) singing Vi Giam folk songs, Cong Minh liked it and sang along. Then he followed his aunts and uncles to learn singing.
Minh officially joined the troupe on stage last May, making a splash with his role as Nguyen Sinh Cung (Uncle Ho as a child) during his days in Hue in Mother's Last Lullaby . Hero Ly Tu Trong is Minh's second role.
