Casio introduces new G-SHOCK hybrid smartwatch

According to PhoneArena , the DWH5600 becomes the second smartwatch model of the G-SHOCK Move family launched by Casio this year, after the GBDH2000. The new product brings a number of features to support daily activities, health and fitness tracking, as well as heart rate monitoring technology.

DWH5600 will cost $300 when it hits shelves on May 19.

Casio's hybrid smartwatch has several modes that support four different activities, including running, walking, gym, and interval training. The smartwatch's optical heart rate sensor uses LED light to detect any changes in blood flow. Additionally, the DWH5600 includes an accelerometer for counting steps and built-in GPS.

In addition, the main features of the Casio DWH5600 include shock-resistant design and 200-meter water resistance, support for solar or USB charging, world time display (38 cities + UTC), sunrise/sunset time, stopwatch, countdown timer, vibration alert...

Some of the smartwatch's key components, such as the case, bezel, and band, are made from bio-based resin. In fact, Casio has used bio-based carbon fiber-reinforced resin on the case, making it the first G-SHOCK to feature this feature.

Users can now pre-order the G-SHOCK Move DWH5600-1 or DWH5600-2 for $300 via the company’s official online store. The watches will be available for purchase at select retailers and online starting May 19.
