On the morning of September 4, Tran Quoc Toan Primary School (District 12) held its inauguration ceremony and opened the new school year in the joy of teachers and students. This is the first school in Ho Chi Minh City to hold an opening ceremony.

Tran Quoc Toan Primary School has 20 classrooms, subject classrooms, multi-purpose blocks and auxiliary facilities. The project is built on a land area of ​​over 5,600 m2 with a total investment of about 48 billion VND.

Ms. Le Thi Thuy Binh, Principal of the school, said that in the 2024-2025 school year, the school will welcome 600 students in grades 1 and 2, including 7 grade 1 classes with more than 320 students.

Local leaders expect that with standard facilities and modern equipment, the school will contribute to solving the problem of learning places and improving the quality of education in the area.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary School (District 6) will also be put into use.

The school has an area of ​​nearly 19,000m2, with a total investment of nearly 162 billion VND, including 40 classrooms and functional rooms, a football field, a gymnasium, a cafeteria, etc.

In particular, the school has two separate multi-purpose learning and sports areas. The multi-purpose sports area can meet the needs of students.

As the first student to study at the new school, Kim Anh (grade 6/8) said she was very happy to be able to study at a school with spacious and modern facilities. This is the motivation for her to study harder.

Teachers and students of Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary School are happy to be teaching and studying at the new school.

Ho Chi Minh City will put into use 476 new classrooms.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Ho Chi Minh City will put into use 23 projects, with 476 new classrooms, with a total investment of more than 2,200 billion VND.

It is expected that on September 5, 18 projects with 413 new classrooms will be put into use, of which the number of additional classrooms will be 359.

It is expected that from September 5 to the end of December 2024, the city will put into use five more projects with 63 new classrooms with a total investment of more than 267 billion VND.
