Prohibition of cars and three-wheeled vehicles from traveling across Dong Chua Bridge

Accordingly, on the morning of December 26, Dong Chua bridge at Km0+150 on route DH1.BTM (in Tra Duong commune) to Tra Duong, Tra Dong, Tra Nu, Tra Kot communes was severely damaged, no longer ensuring safety for traffic.

According to a reporter from Quang Nam Newspaper on the afternoon of December 26, the authorities have installed barriers and signs prohibiting cars and three-wheeled vehicles from traveling on the bridge. The ban will begin on December 26, 2024 until repairs are completed.

The People's Committee of Bac Tra My district directed the District Economic - Infrastructure Department to conduct an inspection and have a temporary solution to ensure people's safety in the coming time.

Bac Tra My District Police also patrolled, controlled and handled violations and intentional crossing of the bridge. Tra Duong Commune People's Committee sent forces to install barriers and temporarily divert traffic to other suitable directions.
