BYD Qin L 2025 adds “God's Eye” C package, from $16,500

Recently, BYD's Qin L 2025 electric sedan, part of the Dynasty line aimed at young consumers, has officially entered the market with three versions with operating ranges of 470 km and 545 km. The prices of the BYD Qin L 2025 are 119,800 yuan (US$16,500), 129,800 yuan (US$17,900) and 139,800 yuan (US$19,300) respectively.

As a mid-size sedan, the Qin L EV is built on the BYD e-Platform 3.0 Evo, with a completely new Loong Face design. Dimensions including length, width and height will be 4720/1880/1495 mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2820 mm. The minimum turning radius is 5.4 m.

There are four exterior paint finishes to choose from: gray, white, green, and beige. Advanced driver assistance systems are realized through BYD’s “God’s Eye” C (DiPilot 100) three-camera solution to achieve high-speed navigation on autonomous driving, smart parking, automatic emergency braking, and blind spot monitoring, to name a few features.

Sensors on the car include five millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 12 cameras. Other capabilities such as memory navigation will be added via OTA updates. Sentry mode is also available.

Inside, the interior is equipped with BYD's DiLink 100 intelligent cockpit system, equipped with an 8.8-inch full LCD dashboard, a 12.8-inch floating center console display, and a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel. DiLink 100 is also integrated with the DeepSeek model for AI-assisted interaction.

The top-end version is equipped with a 12-inch W-HUD information display, a 15.6-inch floating center console screen, and a refrigerator with integrated heating and cooling functions.

Other standard features include paddle shifters, 50W wireless charging, remote control via mobile phone, keyless entry and six speakers.

The driver's seat has 8-way power adjustment and the passenger seat has 4-way power adjustment. The rear trunk has a standard capacity of 460L and the front trunk has a storage capacity of 65L.

The BYD Qin L EV offers two rear permanent magnet synchronous motor options, delivering 110 kW (148 hp)/220 Nm and 160 kW (215 hp)/330 Nm respectively; combined with 46.08 kWh and 56.64 kWh Blade lithium iron phosphate battery packs, providing CLTC ranges of 470 km and 545 km respectively.

Acceleration time from 0 - 50 km/h is 4.1 and 3.1 seconds respectively.

In addition, official data shows that at 25°C, the power consumption per 100 km is 10.8 kWh. The fast charging time to charge from 30% to 80% is 24 minutes.
