On October 1, the Supreme People's Court held a ceremony to announce the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky, Senior Judge, Chief of Office of the Supreme People's Court to the position of Chief Justice of the Hanoi People's Court.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Linh, Director of the Organization and Personnel Department of the Supreme People's Court, announced the Decision of the Supreme People's Court on appointing comrade Nguyen Xuan Ky to the position of Chief Justice of the Hanoi People's Court.

After presenting the Decision and congratulating Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Le Minh Tri expressed his confidence in his achievements, extensive working experience, strong political will, moral qualities, and dedication to work. In his position as Chief Justice of the Hanoi People's Court, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky will promote his capacity, intelligence, experience, and solidarity with the City People's Court to lead and direct the staff and employees in the agency to continue to excellently complete the assigned political tasks.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chief Justice of the Hanoi People's Court Nguyen Xuan Ky expressed his honor and deep gratitude to the Party Executive Committee, the leaders of the Supreme People's Court; and the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee for entrusting him with the important responsibility. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky promised to make great efforts, constantly study and practice to overcome difficulties and challenges, to be dedicated, devoted, responsible, and united with the Party Committee, leaders, civil servants and employees of the Hanoi People's Court to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
Before taking on the role of Chief Justice of the Hanoi People's Court, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky held the position of assistant to the Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court.
