On December 1, Dong Thap Provincial Police announced the decision to appoint 160 investigators for commune-level police in the province.
Of the appointed investigators, 34 are intermediate investigators, the rest are primary investigators. To date, 143/143 commune and town police stations in Dong Thap province have at least one investigator, ensuring the required number according to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.

When performing his duties, if there are any difficulties, he should promptly report to the head of the district-level police investigation agency for advice, ensuring that the process of carrying out procedural activities is in accordance with regulations. The police of units and localities must regularly pay attention to guiding and inspecting the law enforcement of commune-level police investigators, ensuring that the implementation process is in accordance with regulations.
Appointing commune-level police investigators contributes to preventing and fighting crime right from the grassroots level.
